The African Rainforest By Deirdre McCabe

What is the causing of the disappearance of the African Rainforest? What percent is already gone.  The reason the rainforest is disappear is because of slash and burn.  The 90% is already gone

The names of the tribes.  The pygmies live in the rainforest.  They are hunter- gathers.  They depend on the eco system.

The pygmies get meat from the animals.  Forest Buffalos  Cane rats  Monkeys  Antelope

One plant in the rainforest that is used widely around the world.  The plant is Mahogany.  It is used for building staircases, flooring, and furniture.  Mahogany is used for building and constructing.

There are many different climates in the Rainforest. TTTThe climate is around 80 degrees. TTTThe low is 70 more 73 degrees. TTTThe Rainforest receives inches of rain a year.

There are many countries in the Rainforest  Burundi  Cameroon  Central Africa  Cote d’lvoire  Congo  Brazzaville  Equatioral Guinea  Gabon  Ghana  Guinea  Liberia  Nigeria Congo Kinshasa Rwanda Sierra Leone

There are many reasons why the Rainforest is getting cut down.  They cut it down to make furniture, homes, and floors.  You use the floor to make what humans need.

There is a river that runs through the Congo basin. What is it  The Congo river runs through the Congo Basin.

There are 3 vegetations in the Rainforest.  The vegetation is Oil Palms, Mahogany, and Okoume.  Oil Palms are used for ranging for iron plates.  Mahogany is used for building furniture and making houses.  Okoume is used for plywood, veneer, and swam timber.
