KEMIC--Coordination Our mission: Coordinate, communicate, and bring added value to the activities of the regional groups Develop an effective communication strategy Work with regional liaisons to maintain contact and engagement Identify common needs and challenges among the groups

KEMIC--Coordination Ensure that the series of workshops is progressive, and advances towards the regional assessment goals --Develop milestones to ensure that goals are achieved in advance of each workshop. --Ensure that the regional teams are provided with the tools and resources they need to meet these milestones --facilitating communication with IT and provision of IT tools --ensure that the appropriate training is developed and provided to fill gaps in regional team skillsets

KEMIC Additional Activities Coordinate with regional groups to identify opportunities for contributing to the regional assessment activities. Avoid missing opportunities for AgMIP: Public awareness campaign for crop modelers. Facilitate networking of crop modelers in Africa (akin to AGRODEP). Assess current African modeling capacity and the effect of AgMIP on crop modeling activities Opportunities for synthesis across regional integrated assessments?.
