IMPACT OF THE ORGANIZATION ON THE COMMUNITY Provision Of Jobs When a new business is opened in a community, that organization immediately creates new jobs for local and non-local residents.

This provision of jobs will help boost the economy of the community because… -Locals will have more money to spend within the community. -The community will have a greater source of money due to an increase of income tax revenue.

-With the new source of jobs within the community, this will make the community a more desirable place for people to move to. -The increase of new citizens in a community will only help it’s economy more.

The new organization will have a positive impact on the community by providing the people of the community will quality goods and services.

Government Services The tax dollars that the business or organization creates will help improve the school systems, health care, transportation (roads, bridges, public transit) and much more.

The introduction to a new business may impact the community negatively though… -A pollution problem could be created from the presence of the new business. -If a business is not environmental friendly and causes problems within the community, then they are more likely to get less business from individuals within the community.

IMPACT OF THE COMMUNITY ON THE ORGANIZATION Employee Base The community has a positive impact on the business or organization by providing a large array for a possible workforce.

Local Taxes and Regulations A community will impact a business because they can discourage a business to open up in their community if they have high taxes and to strict of regulations.

PROCESS/SKILL QUESTIONS 1.) In what ways can an industry enhance the community in which it is located? It provides tax revenue Provides business which helps boost the economy And provides jobs for those seeking employment around the community

2.) How can members of the community effectively communicate their needs and concerns to a local industry? They chose whether or not to give an industry their money and shop their They can contact the industry about their needs and concerns If the industry has good public relations with the community, it will make customers more comfortable when expressing their needs and concerns

3.) What are examples of programs that bring together businesses and communities? A business can become a partner with organizations in the community such as The Red Cross They can donate to community based causes or other organizations The can have fund raisers and donate money to someone in need within the community
