Issuance Letters of Recommendation (LOR) is an important process for applicants and it need high speed but it is take time and effort from him/her and from recommender and secretarial office also. There are some problems facing each of the applicant and recommender and Secretarial. Most of the problem rise from applicant side was awareness, form request, communicate with the recommender, follow-up request of recommendation letter. The recommender problem was how to find template and how to remember this student who ask for recommendation. Secretarial trouble with paper and applicant frequently question. Consequently, we need to create an electronic website to facility, solve and present the full information about this process (request letter, received letter, follow-up, ….etc.). 2 to 9

In this project, we design Letters of Recommendation (LOR) system with two languages, which serve the members and non-members. Applicant will get recommendation letter with specific need from suitable recommender in easy and less effort way. Recommender can view the applicant's information automatically from the system and choose template. Secretarial office is more arrangement with reducing the traditional problem. Visitor have share from the system. 3 to 9

Save time and effort for the secretarial office by offer communication bridge between recommender and applicant. Allow applicant to request recommendation letter with minimal effort and time. Help the applicant to determine desired recommendation language. Applicant can be follow-up the status of recommendation requests, anytime. Help the recommender to select any templates. Automatically change password of the recommender after each month. 4 to 9

The first step was to better understand traditional recommendation process by collect information by questionnaires technique for all potential users. The second step was documented the result using some models such as use case diagram and ER diagram, the result summarized as system requirements. The third step was build the website using web programming languages such as Visual C#, ASP, ASP.NET, HTML and JavaScript. 5 to 9

LOR web application serves applicant with all facilities and solve most them problem that was occurred with traditional recommendation letter. LOR team provide steps about how creating and following up the recommendation letter and help those to start request their own recommendation step by step with their specific need easily and high efficiency. LOR system provide more care about recommender too, so that we facility to recommender perform his/her function in LOR with less effort and time. The LOR team gives more attention to all member and visitor to allow them interactive with LOR easily and make them satisfaction. 8 to 9

In future, we aspire to generalize this web application to cover all university and college in Saudi Arabia with the following features: Signing the automatic letter of recommendation with digital signature. Search engine to look for recommender by three attributes; university or collage or scientific degree. Active the social icon in web such Facebook, Twitter and Blog to allow the applicants and visitor connect with each other. 9 to 9
