Traditional Recreation of the Ibo Tribe By: Lauren Slagle

Ancient Games Ayo is one of the oldest games played by the Ibo. Wrestling is also an traditional pass time.

Wrestling Wrestling is used to settle disputes. Inter-village wrestling is quite common.

Entertainment Common pass times include dancing, rituals, making music, and storytelling. Men and women also have their individual crafts.

Holidays and Celebrations Celebrate Nigerian National Holidays. Each town also has its own local festivals in the summer and fall.
