2 Definition of fable A fable is a short story which leads a didactic lesson. It carries out thoughts through animated or inanimate features, plants, and nature. Its main topic is about “a moral”.

3 Characteristics of fable According to Wikipedia, “the word "fable" comes from the Latin "fabula" ("a story"), from "fari" ("to speak")”. Latin In general, a fable is a genre of short story to tell a moral lesson with a wittingly manner. It can be called as “tall tales” in one sense. Its distinctive features are animals in a story. These animated characters are anthropomorphic, which means animals can act like humans in the story.
