 The bullfighting in Spain is a tradition that began in 1215  Bullfighting and bullrings are a symbol of Spain  The best and biggest bullrings in the world are in Spain  The bullfighters have been always admired people in the Spanish culture Bullfighting in Spain

 Bullfighting has always been criticized during its history  But as society has been very traditional and always has been respected  However, now with the change of government and a different mentality, it is beginning to be forbidden bullfighting in some regions of Spain  And it has created a society that is growing fast called the “anti-bullfighting” Evolution of bullfighting in Spain

 In Catalonia, since 2006, bullfighting is prohibited.  According to the “Gallup” survey in 2006, only 26.7% of the Spaniards are interested in bullfighting.  However, the level of interest in bullfighting in the foreigners countries has increased in the last years Current interest in bullfighting

 Animal abuse  Because the bulls are drugged and manipulated to bullfighting  The time of the fight is 2o minutes and the bull is in pain  The bull is only raise to be killed Main causes of disapproval of bullfighting

 For these reasons today bullrings only have 3 or 4 bullfights a year…  And they are becoming monuments… Bullrings

 The track is big  Have a high capacity  Usually in the center of the city  Most of them are beautiful places Characteristics of bullrings

 In Spain, there are more than 100 bullrings…  So what can we do with the bullrings? Bullrings
