- UNECE Statistical Division Slide 2 Updates on UNECE Gender database  Purpose of the UNECE gender database: Central dissemination platform for gender statistics in the region A monitoring tool for gender issues and policies in the region  Updating arrangement: Filled with existing data in international organisations and with specific data directly provided by the countries.
