Good preparation helps you to stay safe when doing science activities in lab

Read through the lab procedure before you do the lab.

Review the safety guidelines.

Follow all directions to the letter.

Know and review the safety symbols.

Keep your work area CLEAN and ORGANIZED!

CLEAN-UP when done with the lab.

In Case of Accident When an accident occurs, no matter how minor, notify your teacher immediately. Then, listen to your teacher’s directions and carry them out quickly!

Make sure you know the location of all safety equipment!
