Presentation transcript:

With a strong history of innovation, Matrix continues to work in a modern environment where diversity and accessibility are widely championed, and out-dated practice is challenged. Matrix was set up by a number of barristers looking to achieve a different working model from the traditional English chambers

Something New Matrix Chambers are committed to innovation and experimenting new ways of delivering legal services, breaking down the traditional barriers between other providers of legal services.

Core Values Democratic: All members have an equal say in the running of the practice Efficiency: The practice is professionally managed, using efficient and effective administrative procedures and systems Teamwork: Cohesion and co- operation are important values. Members and Associates of Matrix are individual practitioners but are committed to working together to deliver legal services and sharing legal knowledge and experience. Training: Matrix Chambers offer training opportunities to members of the legal profession Quality: Individually and as a practice we are committed to providing a high quality of client care and legal service. Practise Diversity: The practice is run as an efficient business organisation committed to respecting the diverse practise aspirations of each member.

Community Matrix core values include a commitment to the community in which we work and to the wider society – at home and overseas. Since we were set up our members and staff have contributed time and resources to a range of community initiatives. Matrix is in its 10th year of offering work experience placements to secondary school college pupils. They have the opportunity to spend a week in the busy Admin Room with the rest of the staff team, and to accompany a member of Matrix to Court Matrix has teamed up with other firms of solicitors to run days for sixth forms students on "Law as a Career" Matrix has so far committed over £510,000 to charitable and non- charitable causes
