Preparación Hoy es lunes, el 4 de mayo de 2015 Today is Monday, May 4th, 2015  By now you all have figured out what you are doing in your group.  On a card I pass out, the secretary of the group write  Name of the country and name of group members  Whether your group is doing the poster or calendar or brochure  Who brought the poster or calendar  Who is the typist and brings the information  Who is doing the power point.

Objectives/ Objetivos  Get together with your group  some of you will help finish today the information to those that have not.  Others write an outline of your poster  Write and outline of your power point  Divide parts and start cutting nicely poster parts and mounting them on colored paper.  If you are alone please do the same as above  When done show Mrs. Billings

Suggestions for Poster: (you can print pictures too) (6-8 big nice pictures )  Big Title of Country  Names of group members  Include your research: a short paragraph explaining anything about the following :  map of Country, name of country with main 2-3cities. Population, language, currency & exports  Flag and Coat of Arms (meaning of colors, symbols)  Exotic animal or exotic flower,  exotic fruit,  Any of the culture you learned from festival or country  Instrument,  Places to visit: any beautiful places you want tourist visit  Famous athletic team or sport if you want

Suggestions for Power Point: Use any of the slides you already have, add if you need to You can have more than 10 slides.  Title and name of Country  Name of each student that participated  1colorful slide (of each) with just bullets not paragraphs of any info you may have found on: o Map of the country with Capitol and 2 cities o 1-2 Mountains or volcano and o 1 river or lake you researched o 2 cities to visit: museums, parks, churches, architectural buildings (if you want find a nice hotel or restaurant nearby) o Nearby: o Ruins, Beaches National Parks o Exotic animal or flower  Culture such as: 1 – 2 slides of one of your Festivals o Famous dish and recipe  Famous singer and kind of music  Famous dancer (individual or group)  Typical clothes for dancing and music  Any video link on the above and at least 1 video of any of the above.  Bibliography.

Homework for Tuesday May 5th,  Use many of the slides you have. Add to them.  Bring your printed pictures, or any pictures you want to put on posters typed written short info to place on posters or calendars.  This is when you choose your beautiful drawings and tape them to beautiful paper and assemble.  Read carefully suggestions for both poster and power point and bring anything you may include OPEN POWER POINT AND ADD links and picture on slides on: NAME OF COUNTRY AND YOUR NAME.RECIPE OF TYPICAL DISH of the country  FIND VIDEO LINK OF FAMOUS SINGER OR GROUP. ADD SLIDE ON IT.  Typicall DANCE. Find out about it. Find Video link. ADD SLIDE.  Typicall Dancer or dancing group. Write brief facts. ADD SLIDE.  Beautiful place to visit in country: ruins, architecture. ADD SLIDE  2 nd place to visit in country: beach, museum, any place tourist can admire ADD SLIDE.  Exotic animal. ADD SLIDE  BIBLIOGRAPHY.
