Change Display of a Key Figure While in the Change Query (Local Definition) Hiding 1.Right click on key figure or restricted characteristic and select Properties. 2.Click Hide (can be shown). 3.Click OK Scaling & Decimals 1.Right click on key figure or restricted characteristic and select Properties. 2. Changes made using this option are kept after refresh Layout: BW’s charting functionality, display text elements, move results area Tools: Inserts, deletes, detaches, copies queries Settings: Connection to server & defines workbook templates. Help: Business Explorer Online Help. Change a Query There are two approaches to changing a query: Utilize Right Mouse Functions 1.Right click in the rows, columns, or free characteristic areas of the query and choose from available functions Change Query Local View 1. Select the Change Query icon. 2. Select Change Query (Local View) 2.Drag and drop between rows, columns, and free characteristics.

Refresh a Query Click on a cell somewhere inside the query. 2. Select Refresh icon or right click in the Results Area and select Refresh Query. 3. At the prompt window, fill in the fields which will restrict the data to return results that meet your analysis requirements. Save as an.xls workbook Note: You have the option to send file via Lotus Notes as an attachment. The Recipient must have the Analyzer open in order to refresh the query.
