Life is focused around the Nile

Most of the country is desert, except for around the Nile

Ancient Egypt was polytheistic, with many gods

The language was hieroglyph(ic)s and they wrote on papyrus

Ancient Egypt had a monarchy, with a pharaoh

There were peasants, who did the farming

There was also slavery

Slaves built the pyramids to bury the pharoah in.

There were artisans, who created art for the royal family

There were priests, who were in charge of burial rituals

There were scribes

There were government officials to advise the pharaoh
