A chart used to choose colors—helps you choose colors that look good together. Color Palette

Does color on the monitor always print the same as on paper? No; it is sometimes hard to get accurate color

Working on a computer screen or website, you will use these colors. RGB (Red, Green, Blue)

Working on print media, you use these colors: CMYK

CMY stands for: Cyan, Yellow Magenta

What other color mixes with CMY to make the printed color? Black (K)

While RGB are mixed together & hexadecimal, CMYK uses l _ _ _ _ _ and p _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _: Layers Percentages

To make sure colors produced on the computer screen will print on paper in as close to the same color as possible, use this technique. Color Matching

In Desktop Publishing, color is referred to as: Hue

The amount of hue used in a color is referred to as: Saturation

Hue plus black equals: Shade

Hue plus white equals Tint
