Your Assignment (TEST) Area, Surface Area and Volume

Materials Needed:  One sheet of Bristol Board – divided into four parts.  Pencil & pencil crayons  Rulers (protractor set)

Step One - Perimeter  Label a section of your Bristol Board “Perimeter”  Construct the following shapes in that section of your Bristol Board.  Neatly record the formulas for finding the perimeter or circumference of each shape below that shape.  Find the perimeter of those shapes and then record this information, step-by-step, below them. Step Two - Area  Label a section of your Bristol Board “Area”  Construct the following shapes on that section of your Bristol Board.  Neatly record the formulas for finding the area of each shape below that shape.  Find the area of the shapes and then record this information, step-by-step, below each shape. Step Three – Surface Area  Label a section of your Bristol Board “Surface Area”  Construct the following shapes on that section of your Bristol Board.  Neatly record the formulas for finding the surface area of each shape below that shape.  Find the surface area of each of the shapes and then record this information, step-by-step, below them. Step Four – Volume  Label a section of your Bristol Board “Volume”  Construct the following shapes on that section of your Bristol Board.  Neatly record the formulas for finding the volume of each shape below that shape.  Find the volume of these shapes and then record this information, step-by-step, below them.
