The characters are the fox, the rabbit and an alligator.

The problem is Rabbit is trying to cross the river, but if he tries the Alligator will eat the Rabbit.

Alligator wants everyone who crosses the river to try his hot porridge. When Rabbit wants to cross the river, Fox comes to cross the river at the same time. While Fox was eating his porridge, the Rabbit snuck across the bridge.

The moral is to always pay attention no matter what happens around you.

Teachers should read this book to their students because it is a really good book. For example, it teaches a good moral. It is good for any type of grade level.
