Diary of a Wimpy Kid The Last Straw Mackenzie’s February Wikitastic Book Report

Main Character Greg  Greg has a big brother named Rodrick  Greg also has a little brother Manny, who gets away with everything.  Greg is hoping to get his first girlfriend this year and her name is Holly Hills.  Greg had a New Years resolution and it was to help other people improve because he already thought he was perfect. So he decides to help his dad especially with his dieting plan. And makes sure he follows through with it.

Greg’s Time Capsule  Greg has a friend named Rowley.  Greg and Rowley made a time capsule.  Greg had tricked Rowley to put a bunch of Christmas toys into the time capsule, and all Greg had put in the time capsule was 3 dollars.  Later when Greg needed money for a sugar craving so he went and dug out the time capsule and took the three dollars. And broke his promise.

The Sleepover  The sleepover that Rowley was going to was with a couple of kids who take karate.  Rowley sucked Greg into going to the sleepover when he said that Holly Hills lived on the same street and she was having a big slumber party.  When they got there the kids were 6 years old and super annoying, Greg wanted to go home but his parents were still out at dinner.  Greg decided to go to sleep but the kids were jumping all over him, so he went to sleep down stairs in the cold basement.

Easter  It was Easter and Greg had to go to church and Holly Hills goes to the same church so he was trying to look all cool.  When Manny developed the word “ploopy” no one new what it meant. So at church Greg goes in Manny’s ear and says “ploopy” and Manny Bursts out screaming and they had to leave church.

Camping Trip  At the end of the book the Family goes on a camping trip. But the weather was terrible so they stayed at a hotel.  When they got to the hotel Holly Hills was at the same hotel across the hall.

New Girl  A new girl moves in and Greg starts to like her.  Later he has day dreams about her.
