The History Of Valentine’s Day. Every February, all over the world, people exchanqe sweets, flowers and qifts in the name of St.Valentine. But who was St. Valentine ? Why do we celebrate Valentine is Day on 14 th February? Why do we give flowers and cards? Some people believe that Father Valentine was a priest in Italy in the third century. The Roman Emperator Claudius II did not want his soldiers to marry. But Father Valentine continued to marry them in secret. When Claudius found out, he put Father Valentine in prison. Father Valentine died on 14 th February. When Father Valentine was in prison, the young couples he married visited him secretly and gave him flowers and thank-you notes. That is how the tradition of giving flowers and cards started.

To Mum : Love of tenderness and warmth, For your kindness and affection. For the fact that my life with you Always exciting tale!

To Nadya : Often hear your name... And be with you next. Do not compare you with other, After all, you know how to love!

To Dad : How many words there are about love, How little I'll say to them, And my heart pounding in my chest stronger, When I hear "I love you!"...
