You can learn more from books than your life time experience? By Abigail Brierley

My first reason I am going to argue that you can learn more from books than you can from your own life experience.My first reason is that if you only learn about your life and not about people from the past and from other countries you will not know about them.

I truly believe I truly believe that you can learn more from books, but if your not convinced I have some examples of books describing experiences set in other times and other places.

Example 1 Here are some examples of books I have read which are set in the past and in different places. I have read a great book called “When Hitler stole pink rabbit” set in world war II and I will never be able to experience that, even though I may want to.

Example 2 However I have another example it is called “Little house in the big wood” . It is set in America in the 1870s. Laura (the girl in the story) has a completely different life style to you and me so it was really interesting to read about.

Example 3 Furthermore I have read another great book called the desperate journey which is set in the highlands of Scotland during the highland clearances.(If I had not read the book I would know nothing about the highland clearances)
