Atomic Bombings By Walter Butler

Father of Atomic Bomb -Julius Robert Oppenheimer is known as the Father of the Atomic Bomb -Oppenheimer was an American theoretical physicist and professor of physics at the University of California, Berkeley.

Manhattan Project -The Manhattan Project was a research and development project that produced the first atomic bombs during World War II. It was led by the United States with the support of the United Kingdom and Canada. Robert Oppenheimer designed the actual bombs.

Use of Atomic Bomb -Total destruction in world war II was the objective of the nuclear bombs. -2 bombs were dropped, 1 in Hiroshima and then 3 days after in Nagasaki -The dropping of the bombs, which occurred by executive order of the US President, remains the only nuclear attack in history.
