Special Forces Group Bo Dawson Dylan Crider

Mr. Ragar Marine Recon He enlisted in the Marines and went to Paris Island. Assigned to 16 Recon Battalion after 16 months in the Corps. Stationed in Hawaii and learned to repel from helicopter and learned to swim out of a submarine. He was put on a ship that went to Okinawa and then to Vietnam. Arrived in the afternoon and that evening was on a mission.

Role in Vietnam He went on three types of mission. 1.Locate and survey the enemy hour missions to locate LZs. 3.Capture Prisoners.  Snatch any troop.  Snatch particular target.  Some times they would just eliminate the target.

Mr. Barnard Army Ranger Joined military 90 days before graduation. He went to be an airborne ranger. He went to Ft. Dix for basic and then he went to jump school and NCO school. He was the youngest person to go to Ranger School. He then became a Staff Sergeant.

Role in Vietnam The first night he was in Vietnam a sapper blew up the barracks behind him. His first mission was on March 12 th to Mai Lai. He went on Recon mission. Bounced around from base to base. He ran into many different animals like Bengal Tigers, elephants and shakes His unit brought back 17 POWs from Laos. He was on a helicopter and was shot down and he almost died.

Mr. Brian Blinco Navy Seal He enlisted into the navy as a diver. He did not serve in Vietnam. His job was to support the SEALS He decided to try to be a SEAL He was sent to Coronado, California near San Diego for training After training he went to air school at Air School He had to take HALO training at air school

Combat Experiences He was assigned to SEAL Team 4 He was stationed at Fort Bragg in North Carolina He was assigned to JSOCK He was a part of JSOCK for 6 years He went on missions around the world
