Recap –Clear requirement for GMPLS control of Ethernet –GMPLS enhancements belong in CCAMP –Ethernet data plane specifications do not belong in IETF –May require charter modification CCAMP will look at GMPLS routing and signalling protocol application and extensions for Ethernet networks only when there is a clear specification of the Ethernet data plane (subset/profile) from another SDO Current status is that proponents of various data planes are advancing their ideas in other standards bodies GELS discussion list remains open
