What is a Digital Firm?  Subjective?  Expectations vs. Success  The digital firm provides services to a client company, main company, sister company or third party organization. These services include:  Strategy  Corporate  financial  Brand marketing  Technology  Healthcare  Employee relations  Media  Public affairs  Crisis management  Advertising  Internet development and integration 2

Managing a Digital Firm  For a company to remain competitive, one must move forward with new technological advances.  Example: a digital firm would utilize the Internet to manage infrastructure, and connect to clients and employees.  Successful management of the Digital Firm must have an impact on the barriers crossed between departments.  Structure and Standards  Digital Firm -> Client -> Client Customers = Business Mobility 3

Advantages Erase the Departmental Barrier  Production Department is totally separate than a finance department.  Manufacturing Department is different than HR, even though recruitment and hiring takes place. 4
