(A) OVER CONSTRUCTION JOINT STEP 1: Surface cleaning with wire brush and identification of cracks. STEP 2- : Measure the length of crack. 3neha speciality chemicals pvt.ltd.

STEP 3-: Measure and cut the strip( appseal ® STP ) 100 mm.longer than the length of crack. 4neha speciality chemicals pvt.ltd.

STEP 4-: mm Masking tape over and along the crack (to ensure that the strip do not stick on crack) and apply Adhesive 25 mm wide on both side of masking tape and wait for 5-10 minutes so the adhesive become tacky, after that remove the masking tape and apply appseal ® STP over the crack. STEP 5-: Sealing of edges of appseal ® STP with Adhesive SEAL THE EDGES OF appseal® STP BY APPLYING ADHESIVE ON IT 6

(B) OVER EXPANSION JOINT ( mm) STEP 1-: Clean the joints 6” wide on each side and apply adhesive as primer and leveling coarse, and leave for 24 hrs. 7

STEP 2-: Take 150 mm wide strip( appseal ® STP ) of L+100 mm (L is length of Joint) for first layer. STEP 3-: Stick 50 mm wide masking tape along the joint. Than apply adhesive on both side of tape, ensuring that adhesive should not spread over tape and leave for 5-10 min so that adhesive will become tacky Width-150 mm 8

STEP 4-: Fix Strip( appseal STP ) carefully over adhesive and press gently with pipe roller. At the centre keep loose the strip (to adjust with Exp./Contraction). STEP 5-: Stick 25 mm M.T on both side of strip and apply Adhesive for 2 nd layer of strip and leave for 5-10 minutes so that adhesive will become tacky 9neha speciality chemicals pvt.ltd.

STEP 6-: Take 250 mm wide strip and cut (L+100) in Length, than stick and press carefully. Again keep loose at the centre to adjust the movements of joints STEP 7-: To protect above strip from damage cover the whole treatment with PVC/Aluminium strip(300 mm.) with one side fixed and other side movable holes(Oval Holes). 10neha speciality chemicals pvt.ltd.
