How do people change their physical environment? People change their communities by building streets, bridges, homes, and other structures.

How would building a road help a community? Roads connect parts of a community and allow people to come there to work and live.

How has our physical environment changed over the years? Discuss with a partner what has changed in our community. –Are there new roads in the community? –Are there new buildings, bridges or parks? –Are there new housing developments in the area? Discuss why these new changes are important to the community.
