Excel -Learned how to enter data into a spread sheet. -The data can then be used to generate charts and graphs.

Surfer Learned how to generate a contour map from a text file. Able to change color scheme, adjust intervals, rotate the map, etc.

Microsoft Word What I Learned : –Insert clip art into word document. –Change font and size –Insert symbols and equations into documents (!#&¶±§©‰¼å{=<)

Adobe Illustrator Able to improve the quality of maps by adding color of differing values, changing font sizes, adding scale and legend boxes and adding borders.

Web Resources Able to search the internet for images and then save and copy them to different documents including Microsoft word and PowerPoint.

Photo Shop Learned to process images copied from the web by cropping, rotating, burning, cloning, etc. Pictures can also be abused by blurring, distorting, stretching, and stylizing the images.
