No More Regrets! 2 Timothy 4:1-8

Regrets I wish I’d cared less about what other people think. I wish I had accomplished more. I wish I had told __ how I truly felt. I wish I had stood up for myself more. I wish I had followed my passion in life.

Regrets I wish our last conversation hadn’t been an argument. I wish I had let my children grow up to be who they wanted to be. I wish I had lived more in the moment. I wish I had worked less. I wish I had traveled more.

Regrets I wish I had trusted my gut rather than listening to everyone else. I wish I’d taken better care of myself. I wish I’d taken more risks. I wish I’d had more time. I wish I hadn’t worried so much.

Regrets I wish I’d appreciated ___ more. I wish I’d spent more time with my family. I wish I hadn’t taken myself so seriously. I wish I’d done more for other people. I wish I could have felt happier.

2 Timothy Be faithful! Be fruitful! Be focused!

I charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by his appearing and his kingdom ... (4:1)

Preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching. (2)

For the time is coming ... (3)

... when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths. (3-4)

Charge “Preach the Word!” Be Accountable!

As for you, always be sober- minded, endure suffering, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry. (5)

Charge Be Accountable “Fulfill your ministry!” Be Determined

Driving Look around Look back Look ahead

Look around ... For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure has come. (6)

Look back ... I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. (7)

Look ahead ... Henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award to me on that Day, and not only to me but also to all who have loved his appearing. (8)

Do your best to come to me soon. (9)
