3 ORFEUS board meeting 22 July 2013 Status ORFEUS general: Waveform data at ORFEUS and ORFEUS Data Center - European Integrated waveform Data Archives (EIDA) under ORFEUS umbrella  More (mainly BB) data (4300 stations (~ 1500 permanent stations, ~ 2800 temporary deployed stations. Out of 1500, 750 are BB stations.  Discussion on Federated Data centers with IRIS DMC - Coordinating acceleration data access and strong motion database  demo version of strong motion data portal is available.  test version of acceleration data archive and processing available - Infrasound data archive and data access in (low level) development - Coordination of European OBS pools (initiative with Wayne Crawford IPGP)  Integrating OBS data with land-based recorded data.

4 ORFEUS board meeting 22 July 2013 EIDA is the distributed Data Center initiative within ORFEUS (a)secure archival increased seismic waveform data of European RI, and (b)provide data access and services for research community. EIDA organization: EIDA Management Board (EMB) + Technical Committee, under the mandate of ORFEUS Board of Directors and Executive Committee. Current EMB Chair: John Clinton (ETH) Daily operation of EIDA and coordinated modifications /extensions defined by EMB, carried out by ETC (EIDA Technical Commission). Current ETC Chair: Angelo Strollo (GFZ) Current EIDA nodes: ODC/ORFEUS, GEOFON/GFZ/Germany, SED/Switzerland, RESIF/France, INGV/Italy, BGR/Germany, IPGP/France.
