WebSMARTT Item Types

WebSMARTT Item Types This tutorial will provide information about the different types of Items you will see on your menu plans, production schedules and orders. By the end of this tutorial, you should: Be able to identify the different item types used in WebSMARTT Click on the arrows below to move forward and backward through the tutorial

Let’s Begin

Item Types The item types in WebSMARTT are non- food items (supplies), basic food items, ingredients, recipes or pre-made items. Item types are identified with unique IDs. There are two types of Item IDs used in WebSMARTT Item ID Recipe ID

Item IDs Item IDs are 6 digit numbers that identify: For example Ingredients Basic food items Non-food items (supplies) For example The item ID for yogurt is 87-1054 The item ID for pan coating spray is 84-0053

Recipe IDs; S Items Recipe Items that begin with an S are food item(s) that require preparation S items are Site produced; meaning they are produced at the schools, for example: The recipe ID for chicken nuggets is S0169. Note that because we cook the chicken nuggets; it is considered a recipe.

Recipe IDs; C Items Recipe IDs that begin with C are pre-packaged items that are Centrally produced; meaning they are produced in the central kitchen and sent out to schools. For example: The recipe ID for the Chicken Breakfast Sandwich Biscuit is C0101.
