 Characteristics of able leadership: Sacrifice, Dedication & Vision.  Characteristics of failed leadership: Selfishness, Corruption & Ineptitude.

 Christ demands complete sacrifice (Rom. 12:1-2; Phil. 2:17-18; Heb. 13:15-16; 1 Pet. 2:5).  Christ demands full affection (Matt. 10:37-39; Luke 14:26-27; 1 Cor. 16:22; Eph. 6:24).  Christ demands full obedience (Luke 6:46-49; John 14:15, 21-24; 1 John 2:3-6).

 Christ gave up the glory of heaven for us (Isa. 53:2-3; Phil. 2:5-8).  Christ gave up earthly comforts for us (Matt. 8:19-20; 2 Cor. 8:9).  Christ gave up His time and attention for us (Mark 3:20; John 4:30-35).  Christ gave up His life for us (John 3:14- 16; Eph. 5:1-2).

 Christ has the right to demand our all, because He gave His all (1 John 4:10, 19).  Will you, in response, give Him your all (2 Cor. 5:14-15, 20-21)?
