Family Engagement Process

 Organizing events, helping to coordinate what parents are expected to do as they work to inspire their sons and others  Continuing their own educational needs  Facilitate communication with school administration and the Eagle Family Family Coordinator

Building Family Engagement Starts Early  Open Houses  Orientation  End of Year Ceremony  Summer Bridge  Senior Convocation

Creating the “WOW”  Parent Survey [what do parents need?]  Bi-monthly meetings  Saturday Mornings  Festival of Vendors (Employers, Healthcare providers, merchants, entrepreneurs)  Grade Cohorts and Houses  Every grade is responsible for production of an initiative for the school [talent show, annual family day picnic, etc.]  Raffle off great prizes [at end of meetings]  Open School Saturdays
