How do people: o Depend on the environment? o Adapt to the environment? o Modify the environment? How to people modify the environment in this region? People settle by water. People wear clothes and build housing. People build roads, dams, bridges…

How does geography affect travel and communication? Apply this concept to the Middle East, Europe, and East Asia. Historically geography had a very large impact on travel and communication, but not as much today. Look at Google Earth and find features that would have affected civilizations in these areas.

How does Geography affect us? Provide examples of relative and absolute location. How do people: o Depend on the environment? o Adapt to the environment? o Modify the environment? How to people modify the environment in this region? How does geography affect travel and communication?
