CRETACEOUS PERIOD Find out about dinosaurs from the cretaceous period!

LANDSCAPE The landscape in the cretaceous period was a super continent called Pangea. Then all the land was not split apart like today every country was Together!

CLIMATE The climate wasn’t as hot as the Triassic but not as cold as the Jurassic! It’s the middle!

FIRST DINOSAURS The first dinosaurs were Megarapter, ankylosaurs, hadrosaurus and more.

OTHER ANIMALS DURING PERIOD During the cretaceous birds replaced pterosaurs in the sky! find out more information

PLANTS AND VEGETATION One of the plants that evolved was the modern black pepper and achaefructus liaoningensis plants

GIGANTOSAURUS Weighs up to 14 tons Lived 99.6 million years ago.

TROODON Was discovered by tooth. 2.4 metres long.

TRICERATOPS Its four stumpy legs and used the three horns on its for protection. This quadraped (four footed) dinosaur walked on all fours.

THE END Scientists believe that a huge asteroid hit the earth and smoke rised and breathed in the smoke and killed all the dinosaurs but others believe that’s not true.
