Fate Adesso! What are the steps in converting money ? Look this up!

Obiettivo Students will be able to learn and understand how to properly convert Euros to Dollar and Dollar to Euros by working as a group converting specific areas involving purchasing and money.

How can we calculate Conversions ???? First, let’s look up how much the Dollar is to the Euro and the Euro is to the Dollar. How was is it?? 1 Dollar =.8787 .88 1 Euro =  1.14 PRETTY LOW!

Dollar is almost equal to the EURO What does this mean? This means that the closer it gets to $1, the easier it will be to purchase products overseas. Meaning, the money you have saved and are using to use in Europe will be almost equal, so you wont be losing money!

Example of a High Rate in Euros Summer 2008 Ms. Vitamia went to Sicily for vacation. The Euro was about 1.65 to the dollar. This is the money I received. Saved $300  182 € Mascara was 19 €  $31.35 Dinner with cousins and friends was 400 €  $660

How do we convert ? Dollars to Euros 1) See how much you are planning to convert 2) Double check the euro exchange rate as of today (as of 10/14/15  ) 3) Take your amount and times by the rate above (# x.88) 4) you will get your conversion! Ex: $5 ( 5 x.88) = 4,40 €

How do we convert ? Euros to Dollars 1) See how much you are planning to convert 2) Double check the euro exchange rate as of today (as of 10/14/15  $1 = € – 1.14) 3) Take your amount and times by the rate above (# x € 1.14) 4) you will get your conversion! Ex: €200 ( 200 x 1.14) =$228.00
