The Story Continues….. New Commands, New Covenant

Moses received the 10 commandments… …Jesus gives us a new commandment. Jesus Sightings In the Old Testament “Jesus deserves far greater glory than Moses” Hebrews 3:3

God wants us to live by love not the law.

A. Galatians 3: The law was our guardian until Christ came; it protected us until we could be made right with God through faith. 2. And now that the way of faith has come, we no longer need the law as our guardian.

B. Galatians 5:14 3. For the whole law can be summed up in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”

C. Romans 13: Love does no wrong to others, so love fulfills the requirements of God’s law.

D. 2 Corinthians 3: The old way with laws etched in stone, led to death. 6. We can expect far greater glory under the new way, now that the Holy Spirit is giving life!
