There is much controversy and debate about hell Hell is a Real Place There is much controversy and debate about hell Some deny its existence Some lessen its severity (Purgatory, limited time) Some remove its punitive nature Some see it as a means to scare people to obey!

Hell is a Real Place While an unpleasant subject, if scripture is true (and it is!), then hell is a real and unpleasant place The reality of sin! 1 John 3:4 – if there is sin, there must be consequences, or sin is meaningless

Hell is a Real Place 2 Peter 2:20-22, the latter end is worse than the beginning for the believer. How is this possible if hell is not real?

Hell is a Real Place Mark 9:43-48, Jesus said cut off your hand, pluck out your eye. Better to enter eternity without these than to face the torments of hell (gehenna).
