Annual Assessment of Reading Skills for K-3 Scholarship Students Parent Notification Early Identification Intensive Reading Instruction

Promotion to Fourth Grade Standardized assessment to measure proficiency Blueprints and sample items are available on Ohio’s State Test Portal. Third grade students must attain the promotion score on the grade 3 English language arts test, unless they are exempt.

Third Grade Fall English Language Arts Test Administered from Nov. 30 to Dec. 11 Schools select five consecutive days during that window for the test. Schools will receive the downloadable data files for the grade 3 ELA test at the end of January.
