Miguel and Heather are building a model of human lungs for the science fair. Together they have worked 3/4 hour. Miguel has worked twice as long as Heather has. How long has each student worked? Miguel Heather > 3/4 Miguel has worked 2/4 or 1/2 hour Heather has worked 1/4 Together they worked 3/4

Josh worked 3/4 hour on a science fair project. That’s three times as long as Chester worked. How many hours did they work in all? Josh Chester Together they worked 1 hour

Sarah and Flora won the science fair. Sarah worked 2 /3 hours on their project, and Flora worked 1/2 hour more than Sarah. How much time did they work altogether? Sarah Flora 2 1/ /3 + 1/2 = 5 1/6 hour
