Region II Leadership Team Documentation and Quality Assurance Quarterly management report Program Improvement Plan Field Offices Father Engagement Training 2 hours Father guides, hand outs, FAMLINK case note templates to document father engagement Office designated father liaison (male staff person) Liaison and Reg. 2 Father Specialist co-present social worker training Explore potential father support group collaboration with community partners with existing curriculum Community Partners Juvenile Court training Division of Child Support training Community Service Office training CASA training AAG Office training Children’s Justice Conference Regional Tribes Work with individual tribes to develop father engagement strategy. Explore possible tribal father engagement liaison. Explore possible tribal staff training and father support groups. Statewide Children’s Administration Provide overview of training, father support group curriculum, father guides to be used with field offices, tribes and community partners. Share Region 2 Plan for regional father engagement Facilitate Father Engagement Program Improvement Plan to address CFSR

Social worker /Supervisor review each case for father engagement from day one and in case reviews Include incarcerated, out of state or other limitations Address efforts to identify and engage father in case plan Ensure father is notified and encouraged to participate in FTDM FTDM facilitators document inviting fathers Consult and obtain father engagement toolkit/handouts from Office Father Liaison Provide fathers with father specific information guides as appropriate. Region II resource guides by county w/contact information Social worker meets with father, provides toolkit, resource guide, hand outs and name of Father Liaison / documents in case record Office Father Liaison will receive on- going support and training from Reg. II Father Engagement Specialist Monthly Region II Father Liaison conference calls with Reg. II Father Engagement Specialist Each father is given the opportunity to tell his side of the story and offered information to be part of case plan
