My Thanksgiving Guest By: Maria

It was Thanksgiving day and I couldn’t wait for my special guest to arrive. I was looking out of the window for hours, then finally, in the sky, I saw Santa in his sleigh. He was going to be our special guest for Thanksgiving dinner.

Around dinner time Santa’s elves came, and brought the dinner. The elves brought a candy turkey and for trimmings they brought pie, cookies, candy, and other treats. After dinner we played games until midnight.

It was getting really late so it was time for Santa to leave. He tried to get out through the chimney but he couldn’t fit. (It was probably because he ate so much). Finally he gave up and went through the front door.

His reindeer were waiting there for him. He got into his sleigh and took off into the sky saying, “Ho, Ho, Ho, Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night”. That was a great Thanksgiving dinner!
