If you ever make the journey to Hawaii. You’ll find blue skies and an ocean warm and clear. In that ocean lives a fishy bright and happy. He swims around all day tryin’ to say his name.

He’s called the Humuhumu….nukunuku…….apaua’a He’s the very cool fish with the really, really long name.

Spoken solos: Kid 1: Humu booboo acapoocoo? Kid 2: No, no, no. It’s “Humuhumunukunukuapaua’a”. It can only be found in Hawaii and it’s their state fish. Kid 1: Oh, okay…. Humu coocoo moomoo frufru? Kid 2: Can you sing it again!?

He’s called the Humuhumu….nukunuku…….apaua’a He’s the very cool fish with the really, really long name.

Spoken solos: Kid 1 Humuhumunukunukuapaua’a…that’s a beautiful name. I’ll bet it means “walking along the shores of Waikiki.” Kid 2: Actually, it means “fish that comes out of the water and sounds like a pig.” Kid 1: Really?! Kid 2 Really.

He’s called the Humuhumu….nukunuku…….apaua’a He’s the very cool fish with the really, really long name.

He’s the very cool fish with the really, really long name.

Aloha!
