The Skeletal System By Kiana

The Skeleton The skeleton is important because without it you would be a blob. The skeleton makes the shape of you.

Are your bones dry? Lots of people think that your bones are dry but actually your bones are wet because you have blood cells going through your bones.

What is the most important bone? The most important bone is the skull. All of the bones in the body are important but the skull is the most important. When your body get the calcium it goes to your bones and then your bones grow more.

How many bones do you have? When you’re a baby you have 300 bones. When your growing older you get less bones because they join together. When you are finally fully an adult you have total of 206 bones.

Where do all the organs go? Most organs go behind the bones. The heart and the lungs and the other upper organs go behind the ribs. Bones protect important parts of your body.

What could go wrong? If you fall you could have broken a bone. If you have broken a bone then you get a cast. The cast helps heal the bone because the bone is not moved and it is firm. If you have broken bone don’t worry it will grow back.
