Looking Back: A Volume Driven Recovery While the number of clients, coaching sessions, and revenue had increased, the average fee for 1-hour sessions remained the same over 12 months. Base: 9,820—9,927

Looking Back: Will Key Indicator Trends Remain the Same? Both ICF Member and non-ICF Member coaches have the same positive outlook over the next 12 months. Base: 9,786-9,883

Did the Global Economic Downturn Bring Coaches Together? More ICF Members (36%) than non-ICF Members (25%) have joined a professional coaching organization in the past 12 months. Base: 9,810

Regulation of Coaching More than half of the coaches surveyed felt that coaching should become regulated. Among those coaches, and those who remained unsure, the majority felt that professional coaching associations were best placed to handle this responsibility.
