Cause to Be Troubled  Jesus Himself was troubled – John 13:21.  Our passions cause us to be troubled.  Evil exists, troubles come, death is an enemy.  Romans 8:28 is often misrepresented. Truth About Trouble John 14:1-6

Romans 8:28 (NASB) 28 And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.

Cause to Be Troubled  Jesus Himself was troubled – John 13:21.  Our passions cause us to be troubled.  Evil exists, troubles come, death is an enemy.  Romans 8:28 is often misrepresented.  Jesus’ message is beginning to sink in.  Did the disciples have cause to be troubled?  Romans 12:15 tells us it is OK to be troubled. We know Jesus; He is God.  He knows about us and our circumstances.  Jesus is able to deal with those circumstances.  Therefore, we have every reason to trust Him.  “Trust in God; trust also in Me.”  Jesus says He knows that they trust in God, and now He is saying trust Him too, in the same way. More Cause Not to Be Troubled 2. There is a home prepared for us in heaven.  This is not to be used as escapism.  Although we long to be with God in heaven, we still have a calling here in this world for the sake of the Kingdom.  For this reason, we are motivated to serve God where He has us, and this is our destiny or light at the end of the tunnel.  Philippians 3:17, 20 and 1 John 3:2-3 Truth About Trouble John 14:1-6

After Jesus’ return, we will be with Him forever!  They were going to follow Jesus but just not at this time.  We need to learn to be patient and know that God’s timing in everything is perfect! 6.
