 Creating the freely available portal to Catholic research resources in the Americas  Sustaining the distinctive network of libraries, archives and other institutions that enable the vision  Facilitating internationally the sharing of resources and scholarship

 Primary interest in rare, unique and uncommon Catholic research materials  Over 100,000 records of collections and items  Thematic collections build critical mass  Catholic missions  400 records of archival resources  9 libraries 

 Catholic education  Catholic intellectual life  Catholic literary figures  Catholic liturgy and devotion  Catholic missions  Catholic social action  Diocesan collections, including papers of Bishops  Men’s religious orders  Peace-building  Religion and citizenship  Vatican II  Women’s religious orders

 Make thematic collections visible on the portal  Help members relate their collections to shared themes  Identify collaborative opportunities around heritage, mission and/or collections  Facilitate collaborative collection building and digitizing grant opportunities  Sponsor networking around trends in scholarship

 New behaviors and new programs  Develop programs around priorities of members and scholars  Jesuit Restoration Bicentennial 2014  Vatican II  Catholic Newspaper Program  Add value beyond discovery: Expand links to full content in collaborative collections  Thank you. Your ideas welcome. 
