Shapes, Shapes Everywhere Teddy and his friends love shapes. Teddy wants you to help him find the shapes in each picture. Would you like to help? Graphics provided by Graphic Garden

Square Teddy sees a square. Do you see a square? Teddy says a square has four sides that are all the same length.

Circle Teddy and his friend see a circle. Do you see a circle? Teddy says a circle is round like a ball and has no sides.

Triangle Teddy’s friends see a triangle. Do you see the triangle? Teddy says a triangle has three sides that are the same length.

Rectangle Teddy loves rectangles. Do you see the rectangle? Teddy says a rectangle has four sides. A rectangle has two long sides and two short sides.

Heart Teddy sees a heart. Do you see the heart? Teddy says hearts are usually red. Everyone has a heart.

Oval Teddy’s friends see an oval. Do you see the oval? Teddy says an oval looks like a long, drawn out circle.
