The Rolling 60‘s People wanted to listen to something new Bands like „The Beatles, The Rolling Stones or Elvis Presley“, performed revolutionary songs, that the kids loved and the parents hated.

The 70‘s – Disco vs. Rock Some years later two important kinds of music were popular: On the one hand people listened and danced to Disco music and on the other hand people rocked with Tina Turner and Joe Cocker.

The wild 80‘s Many bands like „U2, Queen, Police, Madonna, The Beach Boys and Elton John“ wrote wonderful songs in a time, when things like Aids, war, oil and pollution dominated the political discussions all over the world.

90 – thousand styles Music industry grew and so did the number of artists. Next to many other styles (Pop !!), boy groups and techno music became very important. It seemed that typical Rock music would disappear.
