 DHTML is the art of combining HTML, JavaScript, DOM, and CSS.  What you should already know  Before you continue you should have a basic understanding of the following:  HTML  CSS  JavaScript

 DHTML is NOT a Language  DHTML stands for Dynamic HTML.  DHTML is NOT a language or a web standard.  To most people DHTML means the combination of HTML, JavaScript, DOM and CSS.  According to the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C):"Dynamic HTML is a term used by some vendors to describe the combination of HTML, style sheets and scripts that allows documents to be animated."

 Dynamic Content: internet Explorer support, With DHTML, you can change the content of the page after it is loaded. Dynamic Content  Positioning and Animation: is the ability to place an HTML element at a specific point on a page, relative to another element or the browser window itself Positioning and Animation  Font Download :Internet Explorer can dynamically download fonts for use in a Web page Font Download

 Data Binding: is a DHTML feature that lets you easily bind individual elements in your document to data from another source, such as a database or comma-delimited text file. Data Binding  Dynamic Styles :are a key feature of DHTML. By using CSS, you can quickly change the appearance and formatting of elements in a document without adding or removing elements. Dynamic Styles

 DHTML works well with applications, ActiveX controls, and other embedded objects. You can use existing applications and controls or create new ones that specifically take advantage of the features of DHTML
