 The Atlantic Costal Plains  The Grand Canyon  The Rocky Mountains  Deserts  High plateaus  Plains  Great Plains  Colorado River  Gulf of Mexico  Cliffs  Rio Grande River  Rio Grande Rift  Hoover Dam

 Gold  Clay  Oil  Natural Gas  Silver  Water  Gas stations  Motels  Oil businesses  Fishing

The Climate of the Southwest is varied. The Coastal Plain along the Gulf of Mexico is warm and rainy. High up in the Rocky Mountains, the temperature can drop far below freezing. There is also lots of sunshine. Most of the land is hot and dry. Sunshine almost every day.

Mexican Foods are popular. Some Mexican foods are tacos, enchiladas, and socialites.

 Borders are the Gulf of Mexico, Mexico, the Midwest, and the West  There are lots of cultures like Native Americans, Spanish, Mexicans, and lots of ancient art works  Route 66 goes through the Southwest  Spanish people were the first Europeans in the Southwest  There are so many rock carvings
