Greater Love

"Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends" John 15:13.

Today is Memorial Day in America. It's a time to honor all those who have given their lives in service for our country. As we remember what these brave men and women did, let's honor the gift they have given us by choosing to show greater love to others.

He was the ultimate expression of love I'm so thankful that Jesus loved us enough to lay down His life so that we could spend eternity with Him. He was the ultimate expression of love

But did you know that there are ways you can lay down your life to express your love to others? When you let go of having your own way, or when you put the needs and desires of others above your own desires,

That's a form of laying down your life. Today, choose to follow Christ's example by putting others first because love is all that matters in eternity.

A PRAYER FOR TODAY Father God, thank You for another day to praise You. Thank You for being the ultimate example of love. Help me follow Your example and lay down my life for others. Let everything I do bring honor to You. In Jesus' Name. Amen.
